Trizone & Yahoo! Banzai feature our gear

Trizone.com.au is fast becoming one of the most popular sites for specialised training and nutrition advice and comprehensive triathlon news across Australia. Trizone content is now shared on Banzai, the recently launched sport site from Yahoo! As well as covering all things triathlon, Banzai also provides a wealth of news and information on cycling, snowboarding/skiiing, surfing and other adventure sports. Banzai is still in BETA testing but definitely worth a look.

When you visit the Trizone or Banzai sites you'll also read the latest Conquest product review. Naturally, we are delighted to have our trisuit, summer cycling jersey and bib short featured on the Trizone and Banzai sites. If you would like further information you can check out the detailed product information on our website or you can contact us directly.

In our next post you'll read about our trip to France last year. We travelled with some cycling buddies and spent five days cycling various legs of previous tours. We will share some of our experiences on training for a trip like this, our routes, where to stay and places to eat along with some shots of the beautiful scenery we took in.

Conquest Bike Wear launches Australian website

Conquest has now launched in Australia and triathlon clubs, cycling clubs and all teams can now get their hands on our latest high quality custom gear.

We were hoping to launch the Australian Conquest Bike Wear site during the TdF but as with most website launches it took a little longer than planned. As well as expanding our operations, we are also pleased to announce several new product releases in our triathlon and cycling range, most of which have been upgraded to feature the latest material and technical components. The site contains our latest custom range, the 2010 Australian price list, testimonials from some of our existing customers along with clear instructions on the order process. We feature a gallery of designs we have created for other clubs if you need some inspiration but our designers are also on hand to provide you with suggestions if required.

There are several triathlon and cycling events on the horizon so make sure you have the right gear to do your best. The guys at Trizone have a detailed events calendar for triathlon events throughout Australia along with lots of other useful training information. The Sydney-Gong ride is also just around the corner so get in touch if your club or team needs custom kit for this great cause to raise funds for MS.

Cycling through the Scottish Trossachs

Stewart, founder of Conquest Bike Wear on a cycle in the snowy Scottish Trossachs with friend Derek from Australia. Derek is not used to sub zero temperatures but the Conquest winter gilet helped make the ride a comfortable one. Visit our website to take a look at our all-season cycling clothing.

Conquest Bike Wear sponsors MK Challenge

Conquest Bike Wear was recently a proud sponsor of the MK Challenge, a 1,000km bike ride from Sydney to Melbourne, to raise money for the Heart Research Institute. We were pleased to be able to supply the team with their custom cycling kit which they are sporting in the photo below as well as in this Channel 9 interview.

After his father died of a sudden heart attack in 2006, Paul Keegan realised he needed to dramatically change his lifestyle and get healthy to avoid history repeating. That's where he came up with the idea of the MK Challenge - it was something that would honour his father, Michael Keegan, while helping him to get into shape.

On March 5th, this group of young guys set out on the longest ride of their lives and they successfully completed the nine day ride on Saturday 13th March, raising around $35,000.

Paul said there are already plans to hold another challenge next year and they are considering a nine day trek across the Sahara Desert.

"Our goal is to take more people and raise more money next year. The MK Challenge is not a race or competition, but an opportunity for people who are maybe unfit or not living healthy lifestyles to push themselves to the limit and prove that when you put your mind to it you can achieve anything."

Conquest Bike Wear would like to congratulate Paul and his team on a fantastic effort.

Conquest Bike Wear launches new website

We're pleased to announce the launch of the Conquest Bike Wear website which can be viewed at www.conquestbikewear.co.uk

It is long overdue but we're pleased to finally launch the first version of the site to serve our UK customers. The product images which feature throughout the site were a critical component but our photo shoot schedule was unfortunately at the mercy of the British weather. We are delighted with the results after a successful shoot in the beautiful country roads of Ayrshire, Scotland.

The new website profiles all of the latest Conquest cycling clothing products to help you make selections with confidence. You can easily review larger images of each product as we appreciate that detail is important. There are also comprehensive key feature descriptions for each product and of course if you would like additional information you can contact us.

There are already a number of improvements we will be making to the website in the near future. This website is for you so please email us with any suggestions you have. If you would like to be added to our mailing list for product updates please contact us.
